As SESA Institute, we participated in the panel titled “Türkiye–Poland Relations: Opportunities and a Shared Future”, organized in Warsaw by the Centre for Eastern Studies (Ośrodek Studiów Wschodnich – OSW), one of Poland’s leading think tanks.

The keynote speakers of the panel were Ferhat Nasıroğlu, Chair of the Türkiye–Poland Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, and Justyna Gotkowska, Deputy Director of the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW) and Head of the Security and Defence Department.

During the panel, the political, economic, and strategic dimensions of Türkiye–Poland relations were discussed comprehensively. The changing security architecture of Europe, expectations regarding the NATO Summit to be held in Ankara, and the shared vision for the future of cooperation between the two countries were also evaluated.

Throughout the panel, Prof. Dr. Veysel Ayhan, Director of SESA Institute, held productive exchanges during his meetings on strengthening academic and strategic cooperation between Türkiye and Poland, developing joint research projects among think tanks from both countries, and further advancing institutional dialogue.

As SESA Institute, we will continue with determination to contribute to the development of joint initiatives that strengthen academic diplomacy, strategic research, and policy dialogue between Türkiye and Poland, while further enhancing our cooperation with international think tanks.
